Heart Attack - Signs for women

Hi All,

The signs for a heart attack in a woman can be different to that of a man. The warning signs for heart attack in a woman are:

Pains in the chest 
Usually discomfort or pain in the centre of the chest.
Pain may come on suddenly, start slowly, develop over minutes or come and go and return again!
It may feel like pressure, tightness, heaviness, fullness or squeezing.
It may be severe, moderate or even mild.

Pain Spreading
The chest discomfort may spread to the neck and throat, jaw and shoulders, the back either or both arms and into the wrists and hands!

Discomfort in the upper body
Some people dont get chest pain! - only discomfort in parts of the upper body. There maybe a feeling of choking in the throat or indigestion. The arms may feel heavy or useless!

Breaking into a sweat
Usually people will feel unwell and sweaty.

Unusual Signs
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing.
Nausea or vomiting.
Cold Sweat.
Feeling dizzy of light headed or anxious.
Extreme tiredness. (particularly in the month leading up to)
